Home Learning

In light of recent changes, please find a list of useful websites below to keep your brains active. I'm missing 6LJ loads already and would love to see what you're getting up to at home on our school facebook page, so make sure your parents have added us! I hope you and your families are staying safe and well.

Welcome to 6LJ's part of our school website!

On this page, you will find details of trips and adventures that don't fit into our learning adventures.  There will be photos and information about exciting activities we have taken part in. Below, you will find tabs that link to different half terms. Within each of these, you will find information about what the children will be learning as well as photos of them in lessons and photos of their learning.

At the end of year 5, I was lucky enough to get to go camping before year 6 began. Everyone had a wonderful time working in teams to put tents up, perform talents, share a campfire, taste different foods, go on a scavenger hunt and play wide games. It was a really great opportunity for us all to get to know each other before year 6 and has meant that we've been off to a great start.

Yeadon Tarn

We had an amazing time at Yeadon Tarn today, despite the weather! The children enjoyed climbing on the traversing wall, taking part in team building games and canoeing. Even though most of us ended up soaking wet, everyone loved having the opportunity to canoe in the lake and learn a new skill.
