We have been learning about the meaning of 'eternal' this half term. We have discussed what things might be eternal and which aren't. As well as this, to mark Holocaust Memorial Day, we learnt about the history of the holocaust and other genocide that has taken place, such as in Darfur.
In Year 6 we have been looking at the meaning of 'eternal'. We discussed the meaning of this in relation to Christians. We then sorted out images as to whether or not we thought they would last for an eternity.
We spent an R.E. lesson understanding the importance of Holocaust Memorial Day. This was a lesson for us to reflect on our own memories and the unfortunate memories of those living in war torn countries.
