As part of mental health week, 4CJ have been thinking about how important sleep is. We discussed why we might find it difficult to sleep and ways we can relax before sleeping. We tried a breathing exercise to see if this helped us feel more sleepy. Have a look below to see if you would like a go.
In 4EB, we looked at how exercise can boost our mood. We thought about how we were feeling and then did some dancing! We were feeling happier once we'd done the dancing! Some children linked this to our daily mile and knew that exercise not only got us ready to learn, but made us feel happier.
Year 4 have been learning about the different stages of development this half term. We started by thinking about the things we can and cannot do at different ages and if this is a choice. We considered the bed to agree ratings and why adults sometimes make children's decisions.
