In R.E. this term the children have been learning about Christianity. We have talked about how Christians believe that it is really important to look after the world, and how this might include being respectful to animals and recycling. We also looked at how Christians believe that God created the world in 7 days and drew pictures to represent this.
In R.E. this week the children started to learn about Christianity and how Christians believe they have a responsibility to protect the environment. We went on a scavenger hunt outside to find different natural items and then we discussed them as a group whilst thinking about being respectful towards each other. We then discussed things we could do at home to be protect the environment.
In RE this week the children have revisited their previous learning and discussed how precious our world is and how beautiful it is. The children went outside and collected a variety of nature items to then work together to create a ‘nature mobile’ The children really enjoyed creating something beautiful like the world we live in. Well done Year 1.
