1EC Fitness

This half term, 1EC have focused upon fitness with Miss Beaumont in PE. This has involved participating in a circuit with a variety of stations such as throwing & catching, star jumps, speed bounce, sprint shuttles and balancing. 

The children then learnt about different training methods including HIIT workouts. The class split into groups and were given an exercise move which they then taught to the whole class! 

We have also discussed healthy and unhealthy lifestyles, thinking about nutrition, exercise, rest and leisure time.
