Year 2 home learning!
Welcome to Year 2's home learning page. We would like you to complete one maths lesson, one English lesson, and one foundation subject lesson from the Oak National Academy Website every day. To access the website please follow the link below, select the ‘schedule’ tab and then select your year group:
If your child is finding the year 2 activities too challenging and they go to Mrs Thompson or Mrs Whitehead for maths, reading or writing please try the following links.
This includes those children who work in a small group in Mrs Widdows’s classroom for writing.
In addition, you may like to have a go at some of the extra activities that can be found under the maths, writing, reading and other subjects tabs below. These are optional activities and can be done should you wish to do any extra work. Another excellent place to look is BBC Bitesize. To access the website please follow the link below, select the ‘primary’ tab and then select your key stage.
We have also set up class blogs on Purple Mash, where you can keep your class and teachers up to date with what you have been up to. To access these, login to your Purple Mash account and look under the ‘sharing’ tab at the top of the page. Then select the tab for ‘shared blogs’ and there you will find your class blog.
We hope that you are all safe and well!
Mrs Stirk, Mrs Widdows and Mrs Lawton
