Time to Travel

Savanna's dad brought in his recovery vehicle! The children loved sitting inside it.

Thank you to everyone who came to the parental involvement and helped us to build bridges! The children had a super time and all the bridges looked amazing.
We had a fantastic time at The National Railway Museum, learning all about Stephenson's Rocket! Head on over to the History page to see some photos
In 2DP we have been having a fantastic time using the crash coding course on Purple Mash. The children used the Free Code Chimp program to code their own program. They chose a background and some avatars, and then coded the avatars to respond to instructions. Why not have a go at home!

We had a fantastic time in our first lesson using the boomwhackers. The children paid careful attention to the music on the screen and they learnt about the C scale.
Welcome to our new topic, Time to Travel. We are going to be learning all about vehicles this term. We started off with a creative context day where we made paper aeroplanes and origami boats, collaged cars, and created some fantastic junk model vehicles!
