Home Learning

Welcome to Year 4's home learning page!

Please visit daily so that you can have a look at some of the ideas that you can complete at home. I will also be setting us a Purple Mash blog so please head over and you can share your ideas with me. Remember you don't need to complete all the suggestions. Think about what you really want to do at home.

Thursday 26th March

Hi all!

A bit late today as my internet has been struggling a lot!

Lots of fun on Facebook again today. Alongside 'Story Time at Home with Miss Benson', Miss Webster is doing a live draw along at 12pm. I love looking at all the creations!

Even nicer today outside! Why not try something new. There are lots of online videos. I have attached a timetable of everything that is happening. I am thinking about learning dancing with Oti Mabuse!

Wednesday 25th March

On Facebook today, we have Miss Taylor, Tatty and Ziggy reading stories at 10am and 1pm so don't forget to tune in!

We also have Miss Webster art challenge - to draw the front of a postcard to show your best memory.

Today the weather is even more beautiful! Who would have thought?! So please go outside. Maybe you can do some planting, make a bug home, help with some gardening? Maybe you can make up your own music video to share with your family?

Don't forget to decide what you would like to achieve today. It only needs to be one thing!

Have a lovely day.

Miss Jones

Tuesday 24th March

Another sunny day! Hopefully you have already decided your time table for today and that it includes some time outside! Don't forget your daily outdoor exercise too.

Today, why not go on a virtual tour anywhere in the world using Go Jetters or Great Virtual Field Trips (see both links under 'Useful Links, Geography'). We all love a postcard so when you have finished either use your home learning book or Purple Mash to create a postcard (you can upload this into the blog).

On Facebook, we have lots going on today including:

  • Our daily art session. Miss Webster has asked for nature art today. So head outside and grab what you can find to create a picture.
  • Miss Jessop's live science challenge at 12pm.
  • Story at Home with Mrs Fenwick-Rasche at 10am and 1pm.

Have a fantastic day and please do log on to the blog on Purple Mash to say hello!
