During our Let's Celebrate learning adventure the children created their own firework display on a large scale using paint in different ways.

They explored letting paint drip from their paintbrushes onto paper and flicking it so that it splatted!

The children then washed over a large roll of paper with water before sprinkling and throwing powder paints onto it to see what effect that created. The children had lots of fun!

W/c 5.11.18 - In RFW this week we have collaged our own bonfires and created fireworks using paint and a straw.
W/c 12.11.18 - In RFW this week, we have been learning about the festival of Diwali. We learnt about how people make Rangoli patterns from coloured sand as part of their celebrations. We worked as a class to create our own Rangoli pattern.

RLS worked in small groups to decorate Rangoli patterns this week using coloured sand. The children each got to add small sections to the Rangoli pattern and the final pieces look lovely on our display!
