On Thursday, year 6 will enjoy PE lessons so it is important that all the children bring both an indoor and outdoor kit on this day.
In the run up to SATs, all of year 6 have been given study books. The children will be assigned a piece of homework for grammar, punctuation and spelling, maths and reading. It is very important they complete this in order to make the most of the learning opportunities in class. The grammar, punctuation and spelling homework must be completed and brought in on Wednesdays. The maths and reading homework should be brought in on Thursdays.
It is also important that everyone is regularly practising their spellings and times tables in order to pass the spelling test and the times table challenge on Thursday.
Please make sure these are brought to class on Thursdays so that I can read with the children and they can make great progress in this area. We will also give the children the chance to change their reading book on Friday.
Homework Project
This half term, we would love the children to create anything they like linked to our 'Crime and Punishment' Learning Adventure. They might like to create a leaflet, book, game or 3D model. The sky is the limit!
