This half term in Year 4, we have been focusing upon fitness. This has included completing a fitness circuit and comparing our scores within the activities such as speed bounce, sprint shuttles, balancing and target throw.
We have also participated in bleep tests, HIIT training and team challenges which have involved exercises such as squats, spotty dogs, floor jumps and burpees!
Through these activities we learnt about different fitness tests, the long and short term effects of exercise and discovered various training methods. We also participated in relay races to learn about the fitness components including speed, power and agility.
