This week during RE the children have been discussing days of the week and sharing fun stories about which day is their favourite and why. The children have been listening to their friends and valuing their different reasons. As a class we annotated a days of the week wheel and wrote our reasons. Later on in RE children will be learning to emphasise with Jewish children by understanding what activities they do on certain days of the week, focusing on Shabbat. The children were really engaged and enjoyed listening to one another in RE. Well done Year 1.
