Oh I Do Like to be Beside the Seaside!
I have really been looking forward to this terms topic as I love the seaside! We will be reading Treasure Island and Robinson Crusoe to learn about how to survive on a desert island. Hopefully, we might find some treasure along the way too!
LJS was here!
We got a bit of a shock after maths when we realised someone had come into our classroom and made a mess! After some more investigating, we think it might have been Long John Silver. It seems he wanted our treasure map as it has gone missing. We have made wanted posters which we have put around school so hopefully we will find him.
Trip to Bridlington
We had a lovely day at the seaside, we were blessed with glorious sunshine. We spent the day fossil hunting, playing on the beach, paddling in the sea and eating ice cream. We were exhausted by the end of the day but it was worth it! The children were very well behaved. We had hoped to find Long John Silver but no luck!
World Cup Week!
Ola! This week we have been exploring the sights and cultures of Mexico. The children have really engaged with this and have produced some fantastic work in a small amount of time.
We took full advantage of studying Mexico this week and made and tasted some Mexican food. The children made their own quesadillas and guacamole. Both tasted delicious! Even if some children thought that it tasted like mushy peas.....!
