Residentials

Year 4

As your child is now in year 4 we know this is a very exciting time for them and that they are really looking forward to the opportunities they will have this year. One of those exciting chances is the year 4 residential to Robin Wood activity centre at Dobroyd Castle in the Todmorden moors. This is a fun, exciting activity centre where the children will get to enjoy archery, climbing, caving, the dungeon of doom, trapeze walking, a zip wire and an obstacle course.

They will stay at the activity centre where the meals are delicious, the accommodation is lovely and the children where the children will have the chance to explore the moors with adult supervision. This is a brilliant residential which the children come back from with memories that will last a lifetime.

This residential will take place from Monday 5th to Wednesday 7th January for 3 full says and 3 nights and the cost will be £95 per child. If you would like your child to attend the trip then please pay a £10 deposit to Miss O'Neil by Friday 20th September. Payment can be made in one large instalment or paid in smaller instalments weekly.

 

Year 5

This year the year 5 children have the opportunity to attend a residential to Lineham Farm where they will get to experience a wide range of activities including animal care, biking, archery, hiking, climbing and a zip wire challenge.

They will stay at Lineham Farm where the meals are delicious, the accommodation is lovely and the children have their own games rooms. This is a brilliant residential which the children come back from with memories that will last a lifetime.

This residential will take place for the children for 3 full days and 2 nights but due to numbers in year 5 they will go in two separate groups. One group will go from Monday the 19th January to Wednesday the 21st January and then the other group will go out on Wednesday the 21st January and return on Friday the 23rd January. The cost of this trip will be £60.00 per child so if you would like your child to attend the residential please pay a £10 deposit to Miss Dobson by Friday 20th September. Payment can be made in one large instalment or paid in smaller instalments weekly.

 

Year 6

Now your child has moved into year 6 this is a very exciting time for them and they are really looking forward to the new opportunities they will have this year. One of those exciting opportunities is the year 6 residential to Ingleborough Hall where they will get to experience a wide range of activities including gorge scrambling, rock climbing, caving, tree climbing and hiking. They will also enjoy a range of extra activities at the centre including a campfire, obstacle course and night trail, bat hunting and a trip to the Ingleborough Cave.

They will stay at Ingleborough Hall in Clapham, North Yorkshire where the meals are delicious, the accommodation is lovely and the children have exciting gardens to explore and play in with adult supervision throughout their trip.

This residential will take place for the children for a full week from Monday the 8th June to Friday the 12th June. This year we would like to offer all the children the opportunity to attend this residential with school paying the full cost for every child. This allows all the children to attend a trip which they will remember for the rest of their lives. It may not be possible for school to pay the full cost of the trip in future, so please take this opportunity!
