This week in RE, we have been consolidating our learning of both Christianity and Judaism. We started off with some active learning when collecting a selection of facts from around the classroom and we sorted them under the headings Christianity and Judaism. We then talked about similarities and differences between the two religions and enjoyed taking part in a discussion as a group
In year 6 we have been looking at the impact that people can have on each others lives. We have looked at different inspirational people and discussed the meaning of the word inspiration. We have studied the lives of different people such as Muhammed the Prophet, Martin Luther King and Ghandi. We have created comic strips detailing the lives of these people.

In year 6, we have been learning about important and inspiring people. We started by learning about the life of Muhammad and how he inspires Muslim people. Following this, we discussed who we're inspired by and why. We learnt about people who have done amazing things throughout the twentieth century, such as Mahatma Gandhi, Martin Luther King Junior, Mother Teresa and Emmeline Pankhurst. We created comic strips of Muhammad's life to illustrate our understanding of his story. We also drew and wrote about someone who inspires us.
