Bonfire night!

This week we have been learning about Bonfire night and why we celebrate it. We have looked at the 'Gunpowder plot' story and talked about some of the things we might see and do on Bonfire night, like watching fireworks and eating toffee apples!

We have done lots of activities around Bonfire night, including making firework pictures using chalk and paint. We also did lots of fantastic counting of fireworks!

This week we have been talking about Birthdays and how we celebrate them! We made a birthday cake, wrote birthday cards and made our own party hats and decorated them. On Friday we had a party, danced to some party songs, sang 'Happy Birthday' and ate some of our cake we made.
